Insurance:
- Cane River Surgery Center offers each of our patients’ complete insurance verification prior to their appointment, as well as clearance of any pre-procedures that need to be done. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for every patient!
- We provide insurance assessments, filing, and thorough follow through.
Surgery:
- Dr. William A. Ball, Jr. performs EDG, laparoscopic procedures, or biopsies regularly. These minimally-invasive procedures allow the patient to return to work within a day or two, if there are no complications.
- Dr. Ball will assess each patient case and advise of the recommended surgical option or treatment.

Recovery:
- Appendicitis, gallbladder, or hernia procedures will prevent the patient from returning to work for a minimum of one week. During this time there should be no heavy lifting of items greater than 10 pounds for six weeks.
